The Bowes Law Group opened in October of 2008 as Courtney Davis Bowes, P.A. Brian Bowes joined the firm in May of 2009, and, together, husband and wife team Courtney and Brian Bowes have cemented the Bowes Law Group’s reputation as one of the Tampa Bay area’s premier family law firms. Courtney and Brian Bowes devote their practice exclusively to family law issues and serve clients throughout the Tampa Bay area.

Courtney is very involved in the Tampa area family law community. Courtney Bowes has practiced family law exclusively since graduating from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2004. She was recently elected by her peers to serve as the secretary of the executive counsel of the family law section of the Hillsborough County Bar Association and is the president elect for 2012 and will be the president in 2013.

She has served as the featured lecturer at the Tampa Center for Women and the Stetson Law School Family Law Society.

Brian Bowes has practiced exclusively family law since 2009. Prior to that he gained extensive experience in both civil and criminal litigation, working in both the public and private sector. Brian has conducted numerous jury and non-jury trials since graduating from law school at the University of Florida in 2003. In May of 2009, Brian joined Courtney at the Bowes Law Group, and has devoted his practice exclusively to family law.
